Garapa.org, a multimedia journalism site co-founded by Leo Caobelli, produced this project for a Brazilian magazine called Revista Forum. The project presents an in-depth look at an industrial accident that leaked agro-toxins into a river killing thousands of fish and contaminating the local populaton.
This project was created by students from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and from Universidad de los Andes, Chile. This documentary multimedia site, beautifully designed, features the history, people and communities of Tierra del Fuego in Argentina and Chile.
Right off the bat, this site engages the audiences with its visuals, simplicity, and interesting content. This multimedia project follows the life of Tulse Luper, a writer who left 92 suitcases around the world filled with evidence of his adventures.
